Thunder on the Mind

"Thunder on the Mind" C.2016 Another self portrait piece that portrays the echoes of a forgone culture amidst the advent of civilization accrued unto upon temptation beyond our wildest dreams; beyond the minds' eye. Often when the dreams of an olde world are upon my nights, it is of a world where the rivers are like roads, the mountains are like airways, and the fields fetch far and wide between the grazed, grassy hills.
Many drums would have drowned with the waves at war, where upon salvation was sold to the highest bidder who could trade bigger and treasure greater. First it was the for fur, then it was territory. Whether the artlife has been a gift nor a curse is not for you to decide, but only to comment, lament, or cement In all time. What is traditional now was contemporary then, as today is tomorrow when then herein. I know despite the differences that hold us all at bay, if any one would have their say, they could pray for the day when the sun shine makes its way into the foray of their mind.
I wounld't wish thunder upon anyone at anyother time.
Gunnish'chish - Merci - Thank you.
