Out Last, Out Live, Out Love
All I can think of is how invested I am into my own career, not just in the arts but from there and outside of all that, like a flower blooming I'm just waiting for a bee to pollenate me. Often I catch myself saying how "I don't know", but if I did know what I was supposed to then I wouldn't be here since life is a learning process. Nobody told me the rules and still there are new ones made and unmade every very day. Heck, even moment in the moment I'm finding that biding my time is the opponent. I can't stay awaiting much more longer, see it's my time to wander, let go and grow that much stronger. I've got to go away and face my fears with all the dangers, both far and near, but my only fear is that I'll become a stranger when I look into the mirror or when someone from far away becomes much more dear to me - and me, clearer to them. "Feather for Hopes"C.2016 This piece here is about the north meeting the south over Turtle Island with the seven fires teachings and medicine wheel with its four directions. The stem of feather is mixed in design with the cedar hat giving way to many potlatch rings mounted. The singular feather found at the tip of the whole design is a great way to finish the drawing. If you were to hold it up by the stem, the south will have their feather up right for strength with prosperity of harmony between us all. Laid out flat, I'd like to think you'd enjoy the bird's eye view, overwatching a great coming together.
